Blogging

I first started this blog because I loved reading other peoples blogs. Then as I started posting I kept thinking who really cares what I'm writing, is anyone even reading this, my life is boring. That being said I haven't blogged since I became pregnant back in December/January! Now I feel like I want to start blogging, but NOW all I have to talk about is being a mother. LOL

I am now a stay at home mom and will most likely blog when my daughter is sleeping, She is now 8 months old. Time flies!!

Being a stay at home mom is really challenging financially. I was wondering if anyone had any GOOD tips on how to budget.

SLEEP=BOTTLE=HELP
Sadly Aubrie can only go to sleep with her bottle. I can only blame myself for starting this bad habit. Now I really need to break it!! I believe in Dr. Sears method rather than The Ferber method-just my opinion. BUT I once did try The Ferber method and my daughter got so upset she puked everywhere and starting to choke on her throw up from then on I promised my daughter and myself we would never try that again!! She also has severe separation anxiety- Its me and her all day without a car to get out. My husband will be upstairs with her and I will go down to do laundry she will sit at the top of the stairs and cry and cry and cry until I come back up! As sweet as it is to know that she wants me and I make her feel better or whatever the case may be- I need to nip this in the bud somehow?????

Baby update...

I have not blogged in a LONG time. Since I got pregnant I just haven't felt like blogging much!!

BUT

I did find out what I am having AND we have a name picked out already...AND I must say I am already stressed out and I haven't even had our baby yet! HAHA I'm stressed about getting our house ready BUT I know it will all come together soon enough..I just wish everything could be done at once AND I didn't have to wait patiently...(not good at that)

WELL...we are having a GIRL. We are so excited and my husband is defiantly in trouble with two girls...esp if she is anything like me :-)

I feel as though my list to get done before the baby gets here, keeps getting longer everyday!!!! AHHH

I asked my husband if i could "PINKify" the baby registry...LOL he didn't seem to care but I tried to get some neutral colors so everything wasn't pink, and I def wont make him carry a pink diaper bag :-)

This is the bedding I picked out-my mom hates it!!!

Its so cute!!!

anyway will post again later-have to get back to work!!!

OFF SUBJECT-- Why are maternity clothes on the expensive side? Is it because we HAVE to buy them??? I was looking on the motherhood clothing website and jesus!! The shirt below is $24.98???
I Dont know what is so special about this shirt that it cost $24.98?? LOL
$44.98 for these cropped maternity jeans?? Do they charge more to cut off material to make the "cropped" jean..hehe haha

I guess I will only be buying sales!!

WEEK LONG MIGRANE-7 WEEKS PREGNANT && INTESTINAL FLU

This weekend has been one of the worst weekends ever. Well that I can remember!

I have had this curshing migrane since the 24th...I even called off work Thurs & Fri it was so bad. I thought I was getting this Migrane because im pregnant and the high hormones going on BUT Saturday I just couldnt take it anymore, so my mom took me down to the closet ER. They where wonderful and had given me fluids through an IV-AND everything was baby safe. but what they had given me I later had an allergic reaction to. This was not fun I had body tremors, heavy chest, fast beating heart. I had called them and they told me to take benadryl. So I did and I went to bed. Woke up feeling great then boom I started getting chills, took my temp and it was 101...you have got to be kidding right?? I then had to call my OBGYN on a sunday let me remind you. He wasnt on call but his fill-in docter was..thank god I have never met him before but he was extremely nice! He said I probably had the intestinal flu with my symptons but it my temp doesnt break I need to go back to ER to rule out anything else since I am early in my pregnancy! pretty scary but thank god it broke soon after!!

Now today is Monday and I called off work again, I actually emailed my boss late Sunday because my fever had not broken yet at the point but it did that night, and I wasn't sure I'd be 100% to go back to work. I will def be at work tomorrow though!!

On a good note. My first ultrasound is today. I am really excited I hope we can hear a heartbeat today!!

It’s Wednesday and I am sitting behind a desk wishing I was at home under the covers with my Chihuahua.

Let me take you back to the week of the 14th. I kept telling my co-worker I feel like I’m having hot flashes. I kept saying that all week and I thought surely I was wayyy too young to be having hot flashes LOL

January 14th was the happiest day of my life.  January 14th was the day we found out we are going to be a family of 3! Yes, I’m pregnant and 22! I feel like that show 16 and pregnant. HAHA Only I have my own house, a husband, a car, and a full time Job

Ok so my first doctor’s appt was on the 24th. I was not thrilled because I had to sit in the “room” for an hour after my appt time.  AND when they finally do come in to take my blood, the nurse could not find a vein—ow that hurt. Then the doctor tries the same spot??? Why the same spot-ow that hurt again and nothing.  So the doctor tries my hand and- OW that hurt even worse but finally it worked!!

I call this AM to get my blood work results and the lady says 21,000. I’m like ok WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? Am I supposed to know what 21,000 means?? Anyway she finally said it means 4 to 5 weeks. I am kind of upset with my doctor and his nurses. When I went there they didn’t even give me a due date or a prescription for prenatal vitamins. He just gave me a sample pack with 5 pills in it-all the same brand??? ughhh

So now I need advice from all mom bloggers. I need advice on what products were life savers, what products were not so great, and I mean products as in baby toys, food, bottles, highchairs…everything

FYI- morning sickness has hit me already, ever since the hot flashes I was having LOL..I get queasy a couple hours before bed and it’s hard for me to get to sleep. I have to start showering at night because doing it in the morning makes me feel sick for some reason!!

My first ultra sound is on the 31st. Can’t wait!!!

Not to mention that a baby means that we are getting new carpet new couch and a new bathroom!!

Thought I'd share this e-mail I recieved. Its pretty funny!!

1.. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times that I didn't want to take a nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How the hell are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories.

11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of  Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

15.. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

16. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay.

17. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

18. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

19. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

20. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!

21. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.

22. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

23. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time.

24. The first testicular guard, the "Cup," was used in Hockey in 1874 and the first helmet was used in 1974. That means it only took 100 years for men to realize that their brain is also important.
